Permanent Laminations

Sierra® provides comprehensive lamination solutions using three coater/laminators. Two coaters are equipped with flotation dryers and can perform laminations before or after the drying ovens. The third coating line uses hot melt adhesive coating.

Our equipment can accommodate a wide range of material, from thin films and non-wovens to heavyweight papers and liner boards up to 40 pt.

Sierra® goes beyond standard adhesive by adding colors and black for opacity and security. Permanent adhesives are fully dried to create a bond that causes fiber tear if separation is attempted.

• Indoor retail signs, aisle banners and game cards: black in the adhesive prevents print show-through.
• Ticket stock: colored glue adds security against counterfeiting.
• Cover stock: glue matches base papers without inducing blistering or curl.
